LABORATORY RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Description:

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Research Scientist to join our team.  Responsibilities include maintaining a detailed laboratory notebook in accordance with GLP requirements and laboratory SOPs.  The Laboratory Research Scientist may act as principal investigator or study director while conducting his/her own experiments.  Makes detailed observations and is able to analyze data and interpret results.  The qualified candidate will prepare technical reports, protocols, and summaries; has excellent written and oral communications skills; and is able to work with little supervision.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Analytical Chemistry with 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience.

• Experience operating and maintaining LC/MS instrumentation (Sciex API 4000, Agilent 6410B) is essential.
• LC/MS method development and optimization, data analysis, and sample preparation techniques (e.g., SPE, LLE, PPT, etc.).
• Experience in GLP method validation for EPA and/or FDA regulated trace-level analysis is a plus.  Experience with GC/MS sample analysis is also a plus.
